| RECIPE FOR RAILROAD PIE |

Instructions:
Railroad Pie1 pound ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 can tomato soup 1 1/4 cup water 1 can whole kernel corn 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon salt Dash of pepper 3/4 cup cornmeal 1 tablespoon flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup buttermilk Cook beef and onion until browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole. Combine corn meal, flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. Stir in egg and buttermilk. Spoon mixture evenly over meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes.
